While it's state law that a pump jockey has to pump "gas" in Oregon (except at certain fuel stations near Indian reservations/casinos) a vehicle owner CAN pump their own diesel - so that's what I've started doing.
The only time I've come close to using gas in my diesel trucks is when something or someone distracted my attention.
Now that my daily driver is a diesel, it's less likely to become a distraction to grab the red, white or blue nozzle.
Yellow nozzle has been spotted outside of Washington - I think it represents a greater than B5 biodiesel mix. (don't quote me on that though)
