Punctured tent material

Question

I have a 2010 Coleman hybrid and have two punctures in the tent material.  These holes are small, maybe 1/64th in, or the size of the lead in a pencil.  Does anyone have a recommendation for a material to cover these with other than duct tape?

I would try a canvas tent patching kit; but read before you apply,it may say not suitable for a RV type use. Also, not sure where you would buy one as a canvas tent is pretty rare, but I do know they exist. Better yet, ask your local RV dealer how to patch it. I'm sure this ain't the first time he's been asked.

I've had similar small puncture holes on a past hybrid and on a pup. I used clear silicone to fill it in. It worked great.

Thanks for the responses.  I have considered the silicone and or aqua seal and like this idea better than a patch type of repair.  Will give that a try.

Agree on the clear silicone.  Just a dab should fix it.
