The last 20% of your TV's towing capacity will most often make you feel like you are dragging an anchor.
But for the occasional trip (not full timers), no big deal. Just plan on going slower and be extra patient.
On the other hand, going much bigger than you need/want isn't an automatic choice, either. It isn't all about affordability.
In the end, make sure you get the camper that YOU want ;)
We chose a Hybrid because we like the tent ends and it maximizes trailer space while keeping the weight and towing length down.
We came up with a list of "must haves" and a list of "wants" and then fit all those into our budget (weight and $$) and picked the one with the most extras that met all those criterion.
