That was where I was when I bought this trailer I am sitting right now. So I went home and did some shopping on the internet and bought this trailer for $3800 less than the "local" dealer wanted. Yes, I had to drive 600 miles to get it.....but I still saved a bundle.
Not to worry, I have prices from multiple places including big online wholesales like RVDirect. I am working on getting this one dealer down a bit more because that is where I want to buy it and am willing to pay a little bit more there because its local and because of the reputation they have in my area. I know a lot of people that have bought there and have been very happy with the sevice. He is already in the right ballpark, just trying to save myself a little extra as it seemed like there was still room when I talked to the manager. This is not my first dance, and I have no issue haggling.
