Hey guys. Once again thank you. It is the Passport 2920BH with bunks on each side in the back. My oldest will sleep on the dinette fold down b/c we have six kids and he prefers his "own" space vice being around the "younger" siblings in the back. :)
I have a Suburban 1500 4x4 and learned from you experts the weight limit I needed so this Passport keeps me within that range.
I live in IN and the two biggest dealers here don't have the 2 models we narrowed our search down to...being the Passport 2920BH and Dutchmen Kodiak 283BHSL. Louisville didn't seem to have much from the search I did. I'm looking at MS now as I'm heading down this wknd to visit family while kiddos are on SB. I don't mind driving to get the camper we want especially if it's a great deal.
The Equalizer was the brand. The recommended version was the 4 way sway control. They had 3...all look pretty big but I'm not familiar with them. The cheapest model used chains which they did not recommend. I know the brakes are overpriced. He even admitted to it. Last year they were $99.
I thought the exterior/interior was a bunch of bologna.
Also, some dealers like RVW in Ohio offer a free night's stay in a State Park & some other complimentary items. Do any of you even consider these things? I guess on one hand it doesn't matter yet on the other it is nice they do something for us except take our money. :)
