Coming home from Florida this weekend it amazed me to see areas of road construction with concrete barriers installed on both sides compressing the width with a speed limit of 50 or 55 and seeing folks (not just RV'ers) going faster than the posted limit.
Someone earlier mentioned experience which to me includes the knowing of your limitations and staying within those limitation, regardless if I feel comfortable to do otherwise. This is my third year with a TT and been able to understand that I need to anticipate my surroundings, fellow travelers and unexpected circumstances.
Back to the original post I had my TT in the driveway prepping for my Florida trip when a gentleman stopped by with a Toyota Tundra. He told me that he is getting rid of his pop up and bought a 30' TT. He does not know his truck weigh and capacity and does not know what the trailer weighs. This was a defining moment to me that all future purchases should be predicated to ensure that the equipment we have or intend to buy will do the job.
Sorry to ramble on but these are my thoughts
