While I am a big fan of my Rickson 19.5" Rims and tires, I will concur that Buzzcut1 waited an inordinate amount of time. For me, time is not as much as a concern, as I am not planning any trip around the arrival of my set.
What is ironic, is Rickson actually shipped my rims and tires 3 1/2 weeks early. That's right. Earlier than the agreed (in writing) time of delivery. So that does happen. I had to cut my travels short and arrive in Denver, to pick up my wheels and tires before I had planned.
As I understand, Buzzcut1 ordered his rims and tires from Les Schwab and didn't deal with the Rickson group. But I am aware this is normal process for Rickson Wheels and Tires and makes no difference in how they allot their product.
I have never heard anyone having a problem with Vision, but I do understand that they are not manufactured specifically for Ford's offset. The person that talked to me about me changing my 19.5" rims and tires for a wider set, SirDrakeJr is no longer with us. But he had Vision wheels on his Dodge truck and loved them.
Me, I still would have no hesitation in purchasing Rickson again. But the time lag is a concern, to me.
Good luck Eric and you certainly will be safer for having them on your truck. Especially after you lost that one tire, recently.
