put wall thermostat on air conditioner

We have a 2011 Jayco Jayflight Swift 264bh, the air conditioner has the controls on the ceiling instead of on the wall stat so it doesn't shut off the fan when it reaches temp. Is it possible to modify this to a wall thermostat? Also, how cold should these units blow, it certainly doesn't freeze me out even on a 75 degree day when it runs all the time. Thanks.

Any 12v relay with contacts rated for 120VAC 20A or more should work. Radio Shack might have one.

Not sure about the newer A/Cs, but if it's like our old non ducted A/C in our 1981 TT the inceiling thermostat used the old tube type temp sensor so adding a wall thermostat would be costly if even possible which I sort of doubt. One of our RV type techs would be the ones to answer this the best.
