The only sheets that I would have on my mattress are fitted sheets, so a little bit extra work is worth it for me. I also do the bending of the corners to fit them on and then let the corners fall back down in order to get the sheets in the right position. I do the two furthest from me first, then the ones closet last. Of course I have a nice thick foam mattress on top of the other one so it may be easier for me to do that in mine. I can say that it is not fun making the bed when it is really hot. - poncho62ExplorerMaybe your mattress is an odd size and standard sheets wont fit.....The deep mattress sheets are probably your best bet
- mikensallytExplorerLol, ever try to find a short king set? 72 x 76. I haven't found them yet. And I'm tired of searching for them. Me? I make the bed a good as I can and just don't worry about it. Yeah, call me sloppy. lol.

There are a few vendors selling sheets on Ebay that will make fitted sheets in whatever size you tell them and many fabric choices. They are made in the mills in India and are quality sheets and the prices were reasonable. - vetteman76ExplorerMy wife is a dressmaker and finds it quite simple to whip up a custom set in no time at all.
I'm sure any seamstress could make up a custom set at minimal cost. Dave - egarantExplorer IIIHere is what I did that seems to be working so far, and the sizes I mention below are based on a queen size bed in your TC.
Get your favorite color fitted sheet on the mattress. You will then leave it there!
Then you will buy TWO FULL size FLAT sheets.
One will lay on top of your fitted sheet, the other will become your top sheet. I made mine two different colors.
The full size sheet on the queen mattress (mine is 8" deep) as the bottom sheet will be able to be tucked in the bottom and then just lay over the sides of the mattress and will reach the very top of the mattress.
No, we have not experienced it sliding in any shape or manner (and we have tried...he he).
We also use a FULL size comforter. The FULL size allows enough material to fall to the sides of the mattress without all the extra material you get when purchasing a queen set.
The best part, when it is time to wash the sheets, just grab both at the bottom and YANK! There off! - exhaustipatedExplorerI just received my new short queen mattress (60X74X5) last week from the manufacturer (Mastercraft Inc.) along with the short queen sheet set and mattress pad combo from AB Lifestyles that I ordered. The mattress pad and sheet set worked great for that odd size short queen mattress with it's deep fitted corners that tucked in nicely. Very nice company to do business with and their products are American made in South Carolina.
