quality control
Seems Lance truck camper is losing its quality control. Mass produce and ship them out. Let the customer handle it. Or are they making units that are seconds?

I'm thinking campers/rvs are a lot like cars/trucks. Some people are really hard on them, and some are not. Some brands work better for people due to their use cases. I'm not hard on vehicles or rvs. If you are, I guess you keep searching until you find one that will holdup for you.
The basic designs are very similar for most RVs with the exception of the clamshells that have their own unique issues, and they all have the same issue, they are assembled by people who make mistakes.
