I also live in Alaska. I have storm windows for my camper and have not seen a need for them in the summer months. Yes, they will help keep it warmer and prevent condensation, but they also block the windows from being opened for ventilation. The sun is out for 20 hours a day in the summer up here, it feels much warmer than the thermometer reads....seriously. Save your money for fresh fish when you get here!
