Up here in Fairbanks in July it might be sunny and 80* during the day and 60* at night where on the same day in Kasilof it might be 55*, windy & rainy during the day and 45* at night.
Either way I wouldn't bother with storm windows if you don't already have them, and I've camped down to -30*F ambient without them.
