I'm pretty sure the payload rating already takes into account a driver's weight - albeit a light driver like 160# of something ridiculous like that.
I agree with the others to ignore the 10,000# tow rating. It would virtually impossible to reach that without exceeding some other number. You'd need the absolute lightest configuration of the truck (2WD no options) and absolutely nothing in the truck other than the driver. Then you'd need to have this 10,000# trailer just perfectly loaded to not impose too much tongue weight but then with light tongue weight you start to have sway problems.
In the end, the manufacturers should go to jail for the way they advertise and rope people into vehicles that really can't do what they brag about.
