Besides, when the GAWR is the sum of both tires, that's not engineering it's just simple math.
Also it's pretty obvious GVWR's of 9900 (just less than 10k used in some laws) and 11400 (just less than 11500 used in some laws) are marketing, not engineering.
These ratings aren't as scientific as some people assume they are.
I'm starting to understand how the manufacturers get their ratings. It's like late 60's muscle cars that have 500+ hp being rated at 375 hp.
