Question about sewer hose supports

I've run into plenty of campsites where the sewer opening in the ground has a pipe that sticks up quite a few inches above the ground, which means the waste has to defy gravity or have enough force behind it to push it out. We have the accordion style support and it's come in handy many times. I used to pick up the hose and help work the stuff out the end, but for $15, it was worth it for me to not have to worry about it. I don't use it whenever I'm using a dump station or if the situation doesn't call for it, but it's light and small and I like to have it on hand.
