Question concerning Shasta issue

Hi,

I've had my Shasta Airflyte for 3 years now. I've had it to the Shasta plant 3 times. The newest issue is the frame where again they put a band aid on it. Many of the camper frames are dislocating itself from the tongue. They slapped on a bolted support as a fix for mine. When is enough, enough? Do all campers have tons of issues like we have had? We've had at least 3 recalls, leaks, mold, frame rusting, faulty welds, windows falling out, dinette separating from the wall...you name it, it's happened

  • Agree with those that say always some problem. The more mile one drives the more bouncing around which brings on problems. JIM2007
  • I have the same issues with my Shasta and yes it’s a crappy Lippert frame that is totally coming apart from the tongue! Shasta has put together a bolt on fix that they say will do the job! Mine is in the shop as we speak waiting to be looked at!!
  • Outdoors RV, Nash and Arctic Fox make their own frames and do not normally have the issues you have had. A little more money to start out with but a better product. No manufacturer is perfect but they are much better than the rest of the industry. http://outdoorsrvmfg.com/video-built-tough/

sounds normal, there is NO quality control in the rv industry.

Not quite "normal" but certainly not particularly unusual.
