Except I go by DIC on filter changes; ~ 9k-10k for oil filter and ~18k-20k for fuel filter.
Some Folks go longer by sending oil sample out for analysis and adding secondary filters.
I have decided to keep the truck stock and follow the GM DIC.
10 yrs in it still runs/looks new.
This was our first diesel and we have found no negatives to diesel ownership.
I can't imagine ever going back to a gasser.
