I'm not going to get in to the ins and outs of that here, there's too many other places for that discussion. Just notice that he has disabled comments on his youtube videos for a reason, and search any PSD 7.3 or 6.0 forum, a PSD club, shop, etc, and you won't find any fans. The one and only thing he ever got correct was to replace the degas bottle cap.
For some good tech, Dieseltech Ron is where you learn things correctly, he is an actual Ford diesel mechanic.
For what its worth to the OP, I don't recommend a diesel for driving 3 or 4 thousand miles per year. Get a gas truck with more power, supercharge yours, or just learn to go slower and relax. Generally speaking, a diesel engine will get parking lot rot driven so little.
