My '04.5 had 154k on it and the trans was serviced every 30k when it started slipping in 1st gear. Had it rebuilt before we started a 4k trip to Montana. Unfortunately 25 miles west of Glendive, Mt. the after market high dollar torque convertor let go. We made the wedding via rental car and truck was fixed with parts sent over nite from Indiana for our trip home. Life goes on. We are headed back to Montana in 2 months with same truck, now has 166k and I have no worries. The new trucks don't turn me on especially the price tag.
