While at it...here are some more just for giggles...

My engine hoist made around the late 1970's. Uses the garage joists and is sistered with a couple of 2x10's (IIRC) and the load is transferred to the ground via 4x4 posts that I place on each end when working this...lifting beam allows me to move the engine around while jockeying it into the engine bay...2 ton chain hoist and has lifted my 1973 K5's front end off the pavement in testing how it works...

Flare nut wrenches and better than the store bought versions

My precision oiler made from store bought oiler, but with a match, heated the end and pulled till it was small enough...cut the flattened end off and this micro oiler has an orfice less than 1/32" dia

Cut off all my extension cord receptical ends and put in a 2 or 4 GFI plug/box. Second receptical is wired downstream from the GFI, so protected by that GFI...is the one used most times to not wear out the $35 buck GFI...this one is of my shop reel cord end

Buy most of my fasteners in bulk when they are on sale and store them in empty milk/drink/etc jugs...so that they are all in the same sized container
