Question on R value and insulation

I am seeking information and recommendations for a list of brands of travel trailers that are highly insulated. A trailer that will be easy to cool in summer and easy to warm in winter without having to spend a fortune doing it. i am strictly looking at travel trailers and plan to be living in it full time. i live in Mississippi and cannot really find any. seems i have to goto Oregon or Washington State to find something.

  • Komfort made in Milwaukie Oregon also has FOAM insulation instead of loose fibreglass .
komfort also offers double pane glass .
  • For some reason, trailers built in Oregon are better insulated than most. Northwood trailers (Artic Fox, Nash and their 5th wheels), and Outdoors RV are both good choices. But hard to find out east.

If you cannot get thermal (dual-pane) windows as an option, the trailer is probably not really 4 season and well insulated.

EDIT: and yes, we too will probably have to go out West to get one.
  • Check out Artic Fox and Bigfoot.....two of the production brands that are well built and insulated.
