AnEv942 thanks for the detailed explanation. Didn't even make it past test one. Wish my meter still worked but loaned it to a "buddy" and well you know how those go. Test light showed red wire had power nothing else, took the red wire off and the black/white wires and touched them together and instantly the fans kicked on. Furnace took about 2-3 mins and started feeling heat. Question now is what t-stats will work. 2manydogs did you just replace yours with a home one or does it have to be 12v specific?
