I don't see how Bilstein 5100's could be 'wrong'. They're sold by length, specific to your application, typically used when the truck has been lifted and a 4600 for a lifted truck would be too short. The 4600's are made for each application, of a stock height truck. If your truck is stock height, either shock should work.
The 4600's are simpler to order, just provide the make/model/year/2wd/4wd and you get the right shock, without having to measure the suspension length.
