The Michelin LTX AT2's that came with my 2016 F250 6.2 CCSB, 18" wheels with camper package have a 3640 lbs. rating each.
Front GAWR is 5200, rear GAWR is 6100 lbs, which is WAY under the tire rating (total 7280).
I'm planning on putting on a camper that's about 2500ish lbs, essentially the same thing as the OP. I would only worry about the tire ratings and maybe the wheel ratings. That rear axle is the same as the F350 SRW, which has a payload of 4100 in the gas engine form (and rated for 10k lbs, but I would not go that far).
That being said, I probably would not go over 4k on the rear axle + truck weight on a SRW truck. Campers with slides are way too heavy for what you get (an extra 1.5ft by 6 ft of space= 9 sq. ft.), and needlessly expensive and complex.
I think that setup will work fine with the 18" wheels and some beefier tires.
I find it interesting that on the XL truck the FAWR is 4800 and rear is 6290, but on my truck with the upgraded front springs (camper package), the FAWR is 5200 and rear (which has overload springs), is less at 6100. GVWR is the same at 10,000 lbs.
That shows you that the GVWR is totally meaningless, and the axle ratings are based on the spring ratings in the front and but not on the rear, because XL trucks do not come with the overload springs by default, but even though mine has the overload springs, it has a lower rating.
It's all total lawyer BS anyway. I registered my truck for 12,000 lbs, which was the lowest option, by the way. Could not register it for what it was rated for (10k), because they did not have that option.
