Questions about winterizing TT

I have a 2014 Keystone Hideout and was investigating so I am ready to winterize come the 2nd week of November. This new unit is different than my old TT.

I have a flojet brand water pump, but there is no way to thread in a hose like I could one my old TT, and just suck antifreeze basically straight through the pump. It looks as if with my Flojet pump the line is not threaded to the pump, its some sort of snap in piece.

Can anyone shed me some light on this subject? Converter kit I can buy online? I don't want to wait until the last minute, and be scrambling trying to figure it out.

Also, is there anyway and/or do I need to winterize my "Sewage tank flush out"? It the thing I hook a hose to which flushes my holding tanks. And how would I do it?
Thanks
  • Pull the blue clips out, and then pull the black nipple out:

Then simply plug back in one attached to a hose:

Put the end of the hose in the gallon jug of Pink Stuff, and turn on the pump.

Let water run through each of your faucets, one at a time until the water is replaced with the Pink Stuff. Then move to the next faucet.

  • I winterize exactly as you describe. My unit came with a short piece of hose with fitting. I unhook the side going into the fresh water tank, attach my shorter hose and stick into the AF jug. As far as your black tank and don't have a connection outside you can buy a cleaning wand. Pretty basic piece of hose with holes in the end cap. Run it up throught your gate valve as well as down the John.
