A lift kit on a truck is like high heels on a lady- it improves the looks but slows it down a little and makes it not quite so stable. A caveat- for hard core off roaders, a lift kit increases ground clearance and allows for bigger tires, but most trucks with lifts hardly ever see the end of pavement.
