Also, avoid lifting blocks at all cost. This means getting more expensive custom leafs. Blocks create a large reaction moment from the rear axle's torque. This moment twists the leafs, which can cause everything from excessive U-joint wear (even if aligned to begin with) to axle hop.
you can experience axle hop/wrap in a stock truck, deep snow, loose gravel combined with a more aggressive tire can produce axle hop/wrap.(see it all the time especially with DRW from 1 tons to tank trucks...get in some loose gravel or deep snow) Not just a condition of lifted trucks with or without blocks. If using blocks (that come with some lift kits) traction bars on the rear axle help in reducing axle hop/wrap.
