4" lift on a GM and 35s won't be too noticeable of a difference towing. You are already aware of the normal consequences of a lift.
Only suggestion is don't use blocks in back. Diesels have so much torque already on stock spring blocks, they get axle wrap pretty easy. If you're putting more leverage on the axle with a lift, drop a little more $ and get some good rear lifted springs
