I always use Walmart when on road. Usually try and find one that is a quick stop off the interstate. This works well crossing the Midwest in states that have less population. On the crowded east coast there is sometimes more urban traffic to get in and out of the Walmart. Usually the Walmart Mgr only ask that you not put the jacks down so as not to dent the blacktop. Their lots are quiet with just a few 18 wheelers and RVs and the night is usually peaceful unlike a rest area or truck stop where the big rigs are always idling throughout the night.
