Okay here is what I did. There a few options of course.
I went to Mcmaster carr and they list a quick install ball joint linkage. For the new Bigfoot it uses a 6mm thread for the shock and the ball is 10mm fyi.
I ordered 6058K62 which includes the ball so may have to remove the ball off the brackets and replace with this one. Will find out end of the week. There is also a similar piece except stainless, different number and twice the cost. And the piece may not be strong enough but have to wait and see what it looks like.
So far it is a $20 gamble and not having to get off my ass to chase it down so why not.
