Thanks everyone. To answer a few questions... no it hasn't needed power steering fluid. It and the steering have been fine.
I do get survey calls...and I tell them everytime what I liked and what I didn't like. Nothing seems to change.
I too wondered about the technical term "squishy". Squishy to a guy and to me...a woman...can mean entirely different things. I am getting a second opinion today.
I keep the truck well maintained and am shooting for at least 300K miles. It does have a new engine from Oct 2011 so it could go to 400K with the right care. But... I don't want to nickel and dime my self either. When it's time...it's time.
In fairness to the dealer... I have higher expectations than some folks. Dad flew airplanes for a living and hammered in "maintenance, maintenance, maintenance". Planes fall out of the sky from bad care and vehicles fail for the same reason. So... I'm on it.
Other dealers have respected that and have been very thorough in the care and explanations. This dealer...not so much. I have observed and received verbal "pats on the head". I'd prefer real information.
We move a lot...sigh... so finding a good dealership/mechanic ranks right up there with a good doc, dentist etc.
Thanks to all for the advice and comments. I appreciate it. This forum truly is a wonderful place to get experience based knowledge.
