In fairness to the dealer... I have higher expectations than some folks. Dad flew airplanes for a living and hammered in "maintenance, maintenance, maintenance". Planes fall out of the sky from bad care and vehicles fail for the same reason. So... I'm on it.
LOL! My dad was a flight instructor in WWII, taught aeronautics at Casey Jones after the war, and eventually ran overnight maintenance at TWA at JFK for many years before he retired in the early 80's.
His mantra was it's either right or it's not...there is no opportunity to get out and check anything at 30,000 ft. Fortunately we get a little more wiggle room in two-dimensional land-based travel...a stalled engine or a leaking steering rack doesn't mean a fiery death for the driver and passengers....
