OK glade you were not being taken for a ride. I am at a loss as to why no one could find the leak before now. I have done racks on GM's, Fords and Chrysler's and anytime they were leaking the boot was always wet by the rack. They have a hole that on some attach to a tube to route leaking fluid away from the engine compartment.
Still do not agree on replacing the pump unless the pressure is low. My DD ran the pump dry three times in her 300 :R and it is still running. The pump started to make noise when she would turn the wheel so I ordered a pump from the dealer and was told to replace the reservoir first and sure enough the noise is gone.
