Ram 1500 diesel review
First one I've seen, looks like Ram boosted the tq output for bragging rights in the ads....it's now 430 lbs-ft Linky Still not epa rated, but they got 24 mpg in mixed (city and highway) driving...

This looks like an overall nice vehicle but is not a solution for those 1/2 ton owners always on the verge of overloading but not wanting to bump up to a 3/4 ton. 9200lb towing max is in line with the other 1/2 tons. $2850 for the diesel over the hemi isn't terrible.
I'm excited as a consumer to see the options coming our way over the next few years and this is just one of them that well may fit a need. If I had a small/med trailer I'd strongly consider this truck.
Mainly, I'm glad that Americans have finally forgotten the smoking, rattling mid 1980s diesels and may be willing to give it another try.
