I don't know, and it doesn't really matter. What matters is how much torque it can put to the wheels, and to maximize that, you need power.

My point was that no misinformed internet article is going to change that.

Only curve I could find is for the 2011 Charger RT. Don't know how it compares to the truck Hemi and it doesn't go as low as 2000 RPM but shows about 325 lbft at 2300 RPM. So the diesel would be making 160 HP at 2000 RPM but this Hemi would only be making 142 HP at 2300 RPM.

I could be wrong but I think my 99 Ford Lariat one-ton srw 4x4 made about the same amount of power- except I only had 4 gears. At the time I thought that truck was a monster. In fact, I think my 2002 Chevy DRW 4x4 made comparable power- with five gears.

This is a game changer for folks who use a pickup for a daily driver and do occasional rv/boat/horse towing.

Looking at the numbers. they were not that impressive.
