Ram 1500 Diesel Towing Capacity?
5000, 7660, 4300. Those are tow ratings I've seen for this vehicle. What is the correct number? I'm in the market for a light pickup and prefer a diesel. Nissan hasn't released much info on their ab...

u need the 2 seater, 2wd stripper model for max payload
I owned a 2004 2wd stripper model once, didn't even have power windows, power locks or air con... bench vinyl seat... I was lucky it had automatic tranny... never again, I'm too much of a sissy / spoiled to put up with stripper models, but too poor to pay 50-60-70k for a truck.
Paying that much, I guess the guys drivin their 70+k loaded out Laramie 3500 diesels deserve to make some noise as they roll through the campgrounds, just like the guys in the similarly priced corvettes get to cruise at idle down town with their engines burbling away through tuned exhaust :)
