Ram 1500 Diesel Towing Capacity?
5000, 7660, 4300. Those are tow ratings I've seen for this vehicle. What is the correct number? I'm in the market for a light pickup and prefer a diesel. Nissan hasn't released much info on their ab...

Also it was Ford that put out a comercial showing the new EB driving around the Daytona Speedway at over 100 mph with the truck floored the whole time. So what's you point
The Ram wasn't hitting the Rev limiter so there was no damage being done to the engine. This is a V6 diesel and just like the V8 diesels they run at a higher RPM then than the in line Cummins.
Apples to Apples as to comparing any diesel to a twin turbo gas engine, that is just a pure dumb comparison IMO. My ED will take any F150 EB off the line, but it doesn't take that Ford very long and it is flying right by me. Would love to see their face when they see me pull away from them LOL.
