I am amazed that the thread went this long before IT started throwing feces. That might be a record for him.
A couple notes. Diesel is less expensive than gas where I live. It has been that way all year long. I hope it continues this way.
And I would say it is not unusual for a vehicle to break down during testing. The latest Motor Trend tried to test the Corvette for best drivers car. It did not complete the test. GM blames it on bad gas, even though every vehicle tested filled at the same station. I personally would not hold it against GM/Corvette, and if I was in the market for that type of car, it would be on my list.
Mechanical things have the potential to break. I wish they wouldn't, but it is a fact of life.
IT, remind me of where Ford ranks in the current reliability rankings?? Last I saw, it was below Chrysler.
