That's about the only complaint I have right now with the Eco... I've had it almost a year and put 24k miles on it in that time. My lifetime average MPG is just under 16 MPG (I'm never in the 55 MPH sweet spot). 90% of the time it is in DD mode, which has caused me to ponder a second car for the brunt of that duty as I put about $400/mo of fuel in right now.
