I think you all of you people that are hating on diesel are funny as hell. I used to be in the same boat though. I downed all the diesels because I said they were too expensive and fuel cost too much and they are to much maintenance. I now have a Cummins turbo diesel and would not go back to a 1500 truck if my life depended on it. All of you that have an Ecoboost that is great but it will not pull like a diesel I'm sorry to break your heart. I also think ford will have to re-think this eco-boost stuff once Chevy, Nissan and Dodge are kicking butt with the little diesel motors. Keep in mind this is the first run of eco-diesel motors in the Dodge. I will guarantee you within the next few years they will turn that motor up and be cranking what the eco-boost is cranking and getting way better gas mileage. Diesel motors or just built more Stout and you can get more out of them. Anyway I want to make it clear I am not knocking the eco-boost as it is a good idea and a good vehicle. Once they get going on the little diesel motors though I don't think you will be able to keep up in hp and torque. Give Chevy Dodge and Nissan a couple of years and you will really see the capabilities of these little diesels.
