I test drove one a few weeks back. They are rated at 20 city 28 highway so they should do good. The E-Diesel Jeep we had for 3 days hit 26 on the highway with only 150 miles on the clock. So I would think 28 or more would be attainable.
As far as $55K goes Ford and GM are both the same for their top of the line 150/1500. The one I'm looking at is $43K no leather but everything else and that is before rebates ($2500 this month).
T&P seeing you can tune a 5.9 diesel to over a 1000 HP you might want to retract that statement.So adding 125 HP to it should not be a big leap. The drivetrain is what would be the issue I would think.
