As I said the 3.0 Eco-Diesel was intended for the consumer that wants their cake and wants to eat it too. It can tow a medium size boat or smaller trailer and do so making the same MPG the others do empty. Check out what the rags are saying about it, they all like it and love the fuel mileage it is making.
Is it lacking in the payload department in the upper trim levels? Yes it is, but again it is not being marketed as a HD towing machine. If you think it's a POS then don't buy one and move on with your life.
