You can get the diesel in the lower trims just not in a regular cab. Not sure why unless it has to do with getting enough engines to the States. If they take off Fiat will have to start building them in Dundee or Trenton and that's a good thing for us!

Here in Canada, the eco-diesel option has been removed (again) completely from the ramtruck.ca website. Seem to be a semi-occurring thing which is a probable supply shortage.
