Or I have a vivid memory of how products engineered in Europe have functioned in Canada's -40 winters. Diesels are a PITA up here 4 months a year. They are better now, but my faith does not extend to something engineered without North America in mind, and then adapted through some mixed up bankruptcy share swap.
I'd be singing a different tune if they had the 5.0 cummins, that will be THE TRUCK TO HAVE! I won't even pretend that a gasser is better than that.
Parts of europe have winters as cold or worse then canada.Volvo makes very good cold weather adapted engines.
