I saw one at a country vintage car show on the weekend. The local small town car dealer, parked it where everybody could see, with the hood popped to afford a glance at the turbodiesel.
It was pricey and the official Canadian Govt. MPG rating was only 2 MPG more than the Dodge 1500 with the 3.6 V6.
The Dodge V6 has more HP, but less torque.
In Canada the Diesel 3 liter costs $ 4500 more than the 3.6 V6.
It would take a lot of miles at an additional 2 MPG for that $4.5 grand.
If I wasn't towing anything significant, I'd go with the gas V6.
