Me, 225#'s, and a Honda Eu1000i 28 #'s. Tongue weight is 350, and I run an Equalizer with 600# bars on the hitch. Front and rear height are within 3/8" of sag from what it sits like level with a full 26.5 gallons of diesel and 5.5 gallons of DEF.
Trailer weighs 3700 empty, and I've had it on the truck scales.
Nowhere near my payload weight. No wife, no kids, just a weeks worth of clothes, a folding chair, and some fly fishing stuff... boots, waders, tying kit, rods reels, vest, hat, net. And beer when I get close to final destination, and groceries. Buy firewood on location, or go gather it with another camper with a truck bed, sometimes.
I've towed 12,000 miles with it in a year and a half since retiring. Zero issues with weight or towability... 16.5 to 19 MPG towing at 55 mph. 33MPG empty at 70-75, all day long, from L.A. to Big Rock, IL, practically Chicago, in 3 days of interstate driving.
Anything I overlooked or missed?
