The only place where the trucks showed any sign of weakness was climbing the nearly 7 percent final grade on the push to 5,000 feet of elevation. With the accelerator stapled to the floor, the truck’s speed dropped off to 53 mph, and engine temperature climbed to an almost alarming 244 degrees.
I had to pass a couple of highway turtles on an undivided highway, into a 20mph headwind while towing. Right there is why I wouldn't buy the ED. When the pedal is too the floor, it's 240hp. Oh, and my quad was in the box, so I'd have been about 500# overweight anyhow......
You do know that 240HP is coupled to a 8 speed transmission right. That's a lot of available gear that your VW just does not have.
But keep bashing something you have never driven it only shows how childish you are
