I explained previously, into the wind or a mild grade is 4th gear, 2800rpms. Not something to be concerned with. Under similar situation the ED would be down a gear, and around 2300rpms. I don't think that is really a big deal.
AT ANY SPEED, the smaller gasser only needs 1000 rpms to make the same engine power / wheel horsepower.
M a y b e I s h o u l d t y p e s l o w e r , this isn't as complicated as some are finding it to be.....
1000 RPM might not sound like much when you say it fast but at normal cruising speeds, 1000 RPM is around 50 % more RPM.
