I'm guessing you are not in the States right now. Diesel is the same or 7 cents cheaper here in NW Ohio. I bet when the new regs for gasoline go into effect diesel will be much lower than gas again.
Chrysler no longer offers the 4.7. The Ram 1500 engine choices are now a, 3.6 V6, 3.0 V6 Eco-diesel or the 5.7 V8 Hemi. The 3.0 is a $2,850 up charge in a CC 6.7' box, if you go with the short box it is a $4,000 up charge over the 3.6 V6 engine. The V6 gas is not available in the longer WB truck.
Nope no manual for the 1500, in any flavor.
If I were going to tow a TT over 6,500# with a 1500 Ram I think I would look at the 5.7 with the MSD. But since I'm not I will be getting the diesel, now I just have to decide if I want to wait for the 2015's to come out or order a 2014.
