Interesting article, but you can "hypermile" any vehicle and get pretty incredible mileage. The article said that the same techniques netted over 30 mpg with a Ford Ecoboost. I had a stretch of driving a 2500HD gasser towing an enclosed trailer where I sort of had to "hypermile" because of the prevailing speed on the freeway (50-55). I got nearly 17 mpg, and normal mileage for the combo was about 12.
